The Association of Public Health Laboraties won the cooperative agreement.

The Association of Public Health Laboratories (APHL) has won a cooperative agreement with the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency to provide technical assistance and support necessary to coordinate preparedness activities of the environmental laboratory (lab) sector.

APHL will work with EPA to organize conferences and workgroups, disseminate information, provide technical assistance through training opportunities, and develop a communication plan that promotes the leveraging of resources in the environmental lab sector.

EPA will continue to work with all stakeholders in the lab community to further develop and expand the capacities of the environmental lab sector.
