AWWA Calls for Technology Conference Papers

The American Water Works Association (AWWA) will be accepting abstracts for the 2010 Water Quality Technology Conference and Exposition (WQTC) between now and Feb. 16, 2010.

The conference will be held Nov. 14-18 in Savannah, Ga.

WQTC is known worldwide as the event of the year for providing answers about quality water in a high-tech environment. Attendees represent a diverse population of the water industry. Previous attendees include water quality specialists, water utility managers, scientists, engineers, academics and manufacturers. Multiple networking events will be available to bring attendees together to discuss issues and solutions relating to water quality.

Suggested submission topics include: 
  • biological treatment,
  • climate change issues/impacts,
  • corrosion control,
  • disinfection byproducts,
  • water treatment in developing countries.
