EPA Awards Perrin Quarles Clean Air Markets Support Contract
Perrin Quarles Associates, Inc. has been awarded a five-year contract supporting the Clean Air Markets Division within the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency's Office of Atmospheric Programs.
The contract, "Support for Clean Air Markets and Related Environmental Programs," has a potential value of about $37 million. The award is the company's fifth major contract award for the division and first federal win designated as a large business.
Under this contract, the company will develop and implement information systems; provide technical support for emissions monitoring programs; develop emissions trading program guidelines, outreach, and implementation tools; assist with regulation development tasks; and assist with program performance evaluations and reports.
Founded in 1979, the company is privately held and provides interdisciplinary environmental consulting. The firm is located in Charlottesville, Va., approximately 115 miles southwest of Washington, D.C.
