Watts Water Technologies Elects New Director
Watts Water Technologies, Inc. announced on Feb. 9 the election of Kennett F. Burnes as a member of the board of directors. Burnes also was appointed by the board to serve as a member of the Audit and Nominating and Corporate Governance committees of the board of directors.
Burnes is the retired chair, president, and chief executive officer of Cabot Corp., a global specialty chemicals company. He was chair from 2001 to March 2008, president from 1995 to January 2008 and chief executive officer from 2001 to January 2008. Prior to that, Burnes was a partner at the Boston-based law firm of Choate, Hall & Stewart, where he specialized in corporate and business law for nearly 20 years. He is a director of State Street Corporation, a member of the Dana Farber Cancer Institute's Board of Trustees, and a board member of New England Conservatory.
