A&WMA Presents Webinar on Ethics
The Air & Waste Management Association will present a Webinar, "Unintended Consequences: Ethical Considerations for Engineering Solutions," at 2 p.m. Eastern on Sept. 30.
"This Webinar will educate participants about the unforeseen environmental consequences and ethical ramifications of engineering solutions," said Adrianne Carolla, A&WMA executive director. "Anyone who is interested in discussing the line between moral responsibility and accountability won't want to miss this informative session."
Led by Pamela Heckel, Ph.D., P.E., the Webinar will discuss how engineering decisions, environmental policies, and urban planning affect the environment and human health. The session will review real-life examples of this conundrum and attendees are encouraged to bring their own experiences to share during this interactive Webinar.
