ChemADVISOR Acquires OHS Business
ChemADVISOR, Inc. has acquired the OHS business, a provider of professional services, databases, and software to manufacturers and users of chemicals, chemical intermediates, and consumer products from Symyx Software, Inc.
As a result of this acquisition, ChemADVISOR expand its products and services to the environmental, health, and safety marketplace to include the OHS lines of products including their industry standard database of pre-written MSDSs for substances and mixtures and their MSDS distribution software package.
ChemADVISOR will maintain the Nashville, Tenn., office location, combining it with existing staff to form one of the largest and most experienced groups of MSDS authors and EH&S experts in the world.
Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.
