Thomas Scientific to Distribute Shimadzu Spectroscopy
Shimadzu Scientific Instruments has partnered with Thomas Scientific for the U.S. sales and distribution of several Shimadzu spectroscopy products.
With this non-exclusive distributor agreement, Shimadzu seeks to widen its spectroscopy footprint through Thomas Scientific's extensive network as well as its brand recognition built on a lengthy history of serving the scientific community. Both companies will look to co-market these products through solo and joint efforts and will leverage their respective expertise to capitalize on an expanding marketplace.
Shimadzu Scientific Instruments is the American subsidiary of Shimadzu Corp. and is headquartered in Columbia, Md. Thomas Scientific is headquartered in Swedesboro, N.J.
