Insurance & Financial Responsibility: Innovative Risk Solutions for the 21st Century

This webinar occurred on November 18, 2010 at 2:00 PM (EST).
Watch this webinar On-Demand.

Widespread application of financial responsibility laws to environmental liability and management began with RCRA, the Resource Conservation and Recovery Act (RCRA) in 1980. Thirty years later, a wide array of financial responsibility rules apply to land disturbance operations such as mining, agriculture, and decommissioning of radioactive sites. Companies that traditionally relied on surety bonds, corporate guarantees, cash equivalents, letters of credits, and insurance now find those instruments difficult to maintain, while under proposed regulatory rulemaking, the EPA proposes considers imposing even more financial responsibility requirements.

This webinar will focus on the types and structure of insurance products available to help industry meet these requirements and describe how they may even provide financial advantages over traditional products.
