L.K. Williams is editor of EPonline and has been writing articles on the environment since 1990. From 1995 to 1999, she worked as editor of Water Environment & Technology, the flagship magazine of the Water Environment Federation. After earning a bachelor's degree from the University of Arkansas–Fayetteville in 1983, she got her first job at a Northwest Arkansas daily newspaper.
Inimai M. Chettiar is a fellow at the Institute for Policy Integrity (IPI) at New York University School of Law, where she is involved in several research projects focusing on environmental and public health. Chettiar also assists with the capacity building program and represents IPI in litigation in the D.C. Circuit. She graduated cum laude from the University of Chicago Law School in 2003, where she was comments editor for The University of Chicago Law Review. From 2003 to 2008, Chettiar was a litigation associate at the New York office of Debevoise & Plimpton LLP, where she represented corporate and individual clients in varied litigations in state and federal trial and appellate courts, and led litigation teams in complex securities investigations.
Jason A Schwartz is a fellow at the Institute for Policy Integrity (IPI) at New York University School of Law, where he researches energy, climate change, and state-based policies. He graduated magna cum laude from NYU School of Law and has worked as an associate in the Washington D.C. office of Pillsbury Winthrop Shaw Pittman LLP. Schwartz advised public and private clients on current legislative initiatives, including energy and environmental policies. While in law school, he was a legal intern for the Environmental Defense Fund, the Natural Resources Defense Council, and the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency. He was an articles editor for the NYU Environmental Law Journal.
Grant Van Hemert, P.E., is a water wastewater applications specialist for the Schneider Electric Water and Wastewater Competency Center. He has 15 years experience in water and wastewater automation and another five years in automation and control engineering. He is a registered professional engineer in the state of North Carolina and is the chair for the American Water Works Association Instrumentation and Control Committee.
