New Citizen Support Organization for State Parks in Florida

The Friends of Gamble Rogers State Park is a new citizen support organization that supports The Florida Department of Environmental Protection’s Gamble Rogers Memorial State Recreation Area at Flagler Beach and North Peninsula State Park.

The main goal of this new organization is to support the two parks through community involvement, educational outreach, fundraising, and enhancements to park resources. The organization that was officially formed last year is now accepting new members in order to help promote the success of the different programs that the parks have and keep those programs going for years to come.

Both parks currently offer several programs, oceanfront campgrounds, great fishing opportunities, and amazing hiking trails. All members of The Friends of Gamble Rogers State Park will receive 12 free visits each year, exclusive invitations and newsletters to special events. All membership fees go to supporting the park’s resources and facilities.

In order to become a new member of The Friends of Gamble Rogers State Park, please visit www.friendsofgamblerogersstatepark.com or stop by the ranger station in person.
