MIT Executive Forum Tackles the Future of Water

The MIT Executive Forum will feature “The Future of Fresh Water” starting at 5:15 p.m. on Feb. 17 at the Federal Reserve Bank in Houston, Texas.

As part of the event, David Klanecky, global R&D director of Dow Water & Process Solutions, will preside on a panel discussing the most pressing issues in water scarcity, future impacts on the Southwest United States, and the role technology plays on the future of water.

The panel, moderated by Lane Sloan, former president of Shell Chemical, includes Klanecky; Dennis Dimick, executive environmental editor for National Geographic; Danny Reible, Ph.D., chair of environmental health and engineering at The University of Texas at Austin; and Herman Settemeyer, Texas Commission of Environment Quality and Water. Dow also is an event sponsor.
