Emerson Process Management
Rosemount Analytical WQP Systems
Emerson’s Rosemount Analytical WQP Systems measure in real time fluoride, ammonia, ammonia and monochloramine, and ammonia and fluoride together. The systems are reagent- and pump-free, reducing both the initial cost and maintenance, and they are based on ion monitoring technology. Their menu-driven industrial ion selective analyzer is capable of calibrating, outputting, displaying and controlling in ppm units. The systems come pre-configured, pre-calibrated and qualified to install, plug in, and immediately place in service.
Trojan UVSigna Disinfection System
Trojan Technologies’ TrojanUVSigna is an open channel wastewater UV disinfection system specifically designed for large-scale disinfection applications. The system includes 1000W TrojanUV Solo Lamp technology; a solo lamp driver; a staggered, inclined lamp arrangement; ActiClean chemical/mechanical sleeve cleaning; and a built-in module lifting device.
Eco-Tec’s Recoflo Demineralizer reduces waste generation without the need for a mixed bed polisher or the risk of resin cross-contamination by using ion exchange with compressed bed and counter-current technology. The demineralizer can produce water with a conductivity as low as 0.1 μS/cm (10 megohm/cm resistivity) with less than 0.010 mg/L of silica using only cation and anion beds. Its resin beds are six inches to 24 inches deep, requiring only up to 15 percent of the resin volume that conventional ion exchange systems require, and it uses less than 15 percent of the resin’s total exchange capacity.
Hydro-Guard’s telemetry controlled, SCADA compatible, S.M.A.R.T Flushing System is designed for maximum water conservation as well as two way/real-time management and water quality improvement. One operator can manage multiple sites throughout a distribution system remotely, viewing data feeds and communicating with each site in virtual real time. The system flushes water distribution lines when the residual level drops below the user-defined disinfectant level; on a pre-set schedule by selecting day(s) of the week, time of day duration of flush; at the most convenient times for customers; and with the least amount of discharged water possible
Electronic Water Purification
The EWP Prestige is the latest incarnation of AquaEWP's proprietary electronic water purification systems based on Capacitive Deionization and the Flow-Through Capacitor. Designed for industrial use in treating contaminated water without the need for expensive membrane-based filtration, the system can be configured with multiple units in series to treat water up to 35,000 ppm (seawater), or can be configured in parallel to treat from one-to-100 gallons per minute. This product was entered in Environmental Protection's 2010 New Product of the Year awards program under the Water category.
Catalytic Products International Inc.
Ammonia Abatement System
Catalytic Products International Inc.'s VANGUARD Ammonia Abatement System is custom-manufactured as one modular package that features a combined catalytic oxidizer and NOx reduction system. The system can be economically applied with many industrial and chemical processes that exhaust ammonia and organic compounds where NOx emissions are of concern and are designed to remove ammonia (and ammonia derivatives) from either a liquid waste stream or from a vapor exhaust. This product was entered in Environmental Protection's 2010 New Product of the Year award program under the Air Quality category.
Water Command Center
Hach Homeland Security Technologies' CityGuard Virtual Command Center is a security network portal, command center, and real-time water distribution monitoring system. This device provides a bi-directional monitoring and control system that integrates the sensor data from water quality monitoring points that are strategically located throughout a community's distribution system, allowing water utility personnel to minimize their response time by simultaneously viewing critical real-time water quality data from any Internet browser at any location.
UV Disinfection System
Calgon Carbon Corp.'s C3500™D Ultraviolet Disinfection system is designed specifically for water reuse applications. Computational Fluid Dynamics were used to optimize the germicidal efficiency of the reactor by varying the device's lamp spacing as well as the size, shape, and quantity of its delta-shaped mixing devices. The patent-pending design increases the hydraulic efficiency of the reactor by uniformly exposing the water to the required UV dose while minimizing head loss.
Designed for use in areas where landscape-based treatment isn't practical, KriStar Enterprises Inc.'s FILTER-POD is a media filter that is integrated with a subsurface water storage system. Flow capacities are set by selecting the appropriate quantity of modules and placing them within the footprint of the water storage system. Decentralizing the treatment components eliminates or reduces the need for additional pipe, large concrete vaults, and a crane to set the vault.
Leak Listening System
ADS’ Hykron Leak Listening System provides high acoustic sensitivity for checking leak noises. As leak noise travels through water and a pipe wall, it can be detected by listening at valves, hydrants, or any available fitting on the pipe. The device detects leak noise through its highly sensitive, built-in electronic sensor. It comes packaged in a carry case with handheld electronic sensor, amplifier with belt attachment, extension rods, magnet attachment and high quality headphones.
Pressure Systems Inc.
Pressure Systems’ KPSI Model 501 SDI-12 (serial data interface at 1200 baud) transducer meets the requirements of the U.S. Geological Survey's Office of Surface Water accuracy specifications for stage monitoring. It offers +0.05 percent FS total error band and repeatability as well as measurement level accuracy of +0.01 ft H2O and on-board surge protection. The transducer’s small rugged package is comprised of welded 316 SS construction and a self-sealing cable system that protects the unit in the event of accidental cable cuts.
Generate hypochlorite onsite -- safely, reliably and economically
The OSEC® hypochlorite generation systems operate by electrolyzing a brine solution to produce sodium hypochlorite onsite and on demand, at a cost that is significantly lower than commercially purchased hypochlorite. The ability to produce hypochlorite on-site reduces the required storage amount, uses safe, stable salt, and produces a very stable, easily metered, hypochlorite product.

Onsite chlorine dioxide generation -- safely, reliably and efficiently
The Millennium III™ chlorine dioxide generation systems are the next generation in disinfection and oxidation technology combining high performance with durability and simplicity. These generators combine a 25% sodium chlorite with chlorine gas or 12.5% sodium hypochlorite and 15% hydrochloric acid to form chlorine in situ, under vacuum conditions to generate chlorine dioxide safely and efficiently.

RIDGID, a subsidiary of Emerson
With the RIDGID® SeekTech® SR-60, users can find metallic lines at the broad frequency range of 10 Hz to 490 kHz and can tune the frequency 1 Hz at a time, allowing the unit to be used with any pre-set frequency transmitter. The unique passive search mode can be used to search all broadband passive frequencies at once. The device has an easy-to-read display that maps the signal, providing a view of the line direction, depth, and signal strength in real time.
IonRight Water Purification System, applicable for use in such industries that require consistent, high-purity water from potable feed water, is a “plug and play” replacement for separate bed and/or mixed bed service deionization. Its dual-filtration process delivers higher quality water with lower operating costs than traditional portable deionization. The system incorporates carbon, reverse osmosis, and continuous electro-deionization technologies in a compact, skid-mounted design. The membranes and deionization systems are cleaned off-site at the company's local service branches.
