Submersible Turbine Pumps

Griswold Pump Company’s 4-, 6- and 8-inch Submersible Turbine Pumps have been designed for a wide variety of uses, including farm, industry, municipal and commercial applications.     The ITT Goulds Model NM 3196 is an ANSI chemical process pump constructed of fiberglass-reinforced plastic, giving customers an alternative to metal-alloy pumps for processes involving highly corrosive fluids. The Model NM 3196 features i-FRAME power ends, which incorporate multiple patented technologies to reduce downtime and lower life-cycle costs. The central feature is the i-ALERT on-board condition monitor, which automatically monitors temperature and vibration, warning users with a flashing LED display if either are exceeding normal parameters.

      Watson-Marlow Bredel offers the heavy-duty SPX pump for challenging environmental applications. This pump reliably handles a variety of harsh materials, including abrasive sludge. Advanced hose technology enables the unit to pump grit-filled sludge dependably for a long period of time. Peristaltic hose pumps are virtually maintenance-free, with no expensive seals to replace, no check valves to clog, and no rotors and stators to wear out. Unlike other pump types, the highly abrasive nature of sludge does not affect pump life.

        High Flow Water Pump

        ITT Goulds Pumps has introduced a new line of double-suction, base-mounted pumps for municipal and industrial water service. The new Model 3408A pumps are available in 2'' through 10'' sizes, up to 300 HP. Capacities range to 6,500 GPM with heads to 400 feet. These pumps are cast iron, bronze-fitted construction with a maximum working pressure of 175 psig.

        The 3408A features internally self-flushing mechanical seals for maximum lubrication, debris removal, and heat dissipation. Up to 25 percent of the total pump flow continuously flushes the seal faces. The internally flushed seals also allow for a shorter shaft reducing deflection thereby extending seal life. Closed-end steel baseplates with full seam welds are used for strength. An open top allows easy grouting. The pump bearings and mechanical seals can be serviced without disturbing the upper casing half, piping connections, or electrical motor connections.

          Wet-Prime Pumps

          Godwin Pumps' line of portable, gasoline-powered wet-prime pumps is available in dewatering, trash, diaphragm, plastic, and pressure models. The pumps are capable of handling maximum heads of 50 to 285 feet and maximum flows of 32 to 422 gpm. For durability and protection, the units feature an abrasion-resistant, solid, silicon-carbide, mechanical seal. The product is suitable for construction trash-laden, dewatering, septic tank, and manhole/vault dewatering applications.

            CAT PUMPS' model 6762 triplex pump is designed for seawater desalination systems. The pump features a duplex, stainless-steel head and valve assemblies, providing added corrosion resistance, higher strength and extended life in aggressive seawater desalination and chemical injection applications. The model delivers 90-percent overall efficiency, reducing the energy consumption required to convert from seawater to fresh water or when performing on 24/7 duty cycle.

              Liquid Handling Pumps

              VICI Valco's Cheminert models M6 and M50 liquid handling pumps are designed for precision handling of liquids and gases, producing a bidirectional, pulseless flow with a range of more than six orders of magnitude. The positive displacement pumps are self-priming and tolerant of any gas that may find its way into the fluid lines. There is no separate fill cycle and the capacity is unlimited.
