FilterWare for baghouses and other types of fabric filter dust collection systems enables improved process control, maintenance planning and automated EPA compliance reporting while providing plants with other return on investment capabilities, according to FilterSense. The software provides process visualization, report generation and remote services. The software interfaces with the company’s range of diagnostic baghouse controllers, intelligent pulse jet timers, particulate monitors and filter leak/broken bag detectors as well as third-party instrumentation and controls.

    DeviceNet Baghouse Controller

    FilterSense's Baghouse controller features DeviceNet communications for integration with Allen-Bradley PLCs. This networking solution reduces the cost and time required to wire and install industrial automation devices. The company’s B-PAC series of Baghouse Performance Analyzers and Controllers can detect and locate failed solenoids and filter leaks. The controllers lower energy use by employing intelligent pulse cleaning. These communications allow plant operators to receive information and control options provided thru a single cable.

      Dry Air System

      Parker domnick hunter’s PNEUDRI MiDAS is a mini dry air system that provides plant engineers uninterrupted clean and dry compressed air. The unit contains a particulate filter and a desiccant cartridge inside a single module. The product features top-end re-pressurization and a quick-release top cap arrangement that does not require inlet/outlet ports to be disconnected. The unit is available at a pressure dew point of -40 or -100 degrees Fahrenheit, and at flow rates of 3- to 20-scfm at 100 psig.

        Farr’s Gold Series GS4M Mini dust collector controls emissions from small airflow applications up to 2,000 cfm. The collector is a pre-wired unit with a low-noise fan (less than 70 dB), controls, motor starter, filters and cleaning system. It contains four HemiPleat® flame-retardant filter cartridges with 788 square feet of media. The automatic, reverse-pulse cleaning system is activated by an on-demand control panel. A safety monitoring filter is included to allow recirculation of the filtered air downstream for energy savings.

          CO2 Purifier

          Designed for use by drinks manufacturers, the PCO2 Carbon Dioxide Purifier range offers point of use protection against moisture, hydrocarbons, ammonia, and sulfur dioxide. The range uses a mix of adsorbent materials that provide effective CO2 purification in accordance with the quality guidelines published by the International Society for Beverage Technologists. This modular unit has no moving parts and its housing provides corrosion protection. The materials of construction were independently verified to comply with FDA CFR, Title 21 “Food & Drug.”

            Diesel Particulate Filter

            The California Air Resources Board has verified the Rypos DPF/Low Emission Transport Refrigeration Unit (Level 2 Plus) diesel particulate filter for use on most trailer transport refrigeration units (TRUs) using 2002 and older model year engines. The self-cleaning diesel exhaust filter uses an electrically conductive sintered metal fiber medium and electrical power from the TRU to regenerate the filter when needed. It is microprocessor controlled with a backpressure control system, an electrical control circuit, and a backpressure warning indicator.

              The SchroederSPUN depth filter cartridges and housings provide a reliable, versatile, and low-cost solution for reverse osmosis pre-filtration, food service for beverages, car wash high pressure pumps and nozzles, pre/post UV water treatment, and more. These graded density elements, spun bounded from 100 percent pure polypropylene fibers, offer high dirt holding capacities. By trapping the larger sized particles on the outside of the element while the smaller particles are trapped closer to the element’s core, these elements can filter as fine as 1µ.
