Heavy Duty HEPA Vac
EXAIR’s new Heavy Duty HEPA Vac attaches to an ordinary 55 gallon open top drum to turn it into a powerful, HEPA quality, industrial vacuum cleaner. The Heavy Duty HEPA Vac is designed to move more material with less wear. In addition, this vacuum has been engineered to filter contaminants to HEPA requirements in dusty environments requiring frequent cleaning. It is extremely quiet at 82 dBA (half the noise of electric vacs), making it suitable for a wide variety of environments. An economical, easily maintained pre-filter stops larger particles, while the HEPA filter handles the smaller matter. All filters are tested for minimum 99.97% filtration at the 0.3 micron level to meet HEPA standards in strict accordance to IEST-RP-CC-007. The Heavy Duty HEPA Vac System comes complete with the Heavy Duty Dry Vac, lever lock drum lid, shutoff valve, pre-filter, HEPA filter, 10' (3m) static resistant hose, hose hanger, 1/2 NPT quick connects coupling, 20' (6m) compressed air hose, pressure gauge, and aluminum chip wand (drum not included).
Reduces energy consumption and increases MBR technology
LEAPprimary significantly reduces overall energy use, costs and physical space requirements by combining separation, thickening and dewatering of primary wastewater solids into one compact, high-performance unit. It replaces conventional clarification and fine screening in a typical MBR plant. LEAPprimary offers high removal of total suspended solids (50-70 percent) and biochemical oxygen demand (25-40 percent), and the removed solids can be dewatered to 20-30 percent dry matter, minimizing handling costs. Since solids and organic material are removed prior to secondary biological treatment, energy use for biological treatment is reduced.

www RESOURCE DAF
www RESOURCE DAF
World Water Works, Inc. announces the availability of its new www/RESOURCE DAF, a next generation dissolved air flotation (DAF) system that handles flows from 5,000 to 8,000 gallons per minute (gpm) and is ideal for industries ranging from food processing, to desalination pretreatment, to textiles, to petroleum, and beyond. Pilot treatment plants are available and thorough bench testing and pilot treatability studies are conducted to guarantee results.
With a high total dissolved solids (TDS) and saltwater tolerance, www/RESOURCE DAF provides the flexibility to outperform traditional DAFs and ensure longevity. Heavy duty durable polypropylene construction allows operation over a wide temperature range and pH range of 2-13, so the system offers tremendous treatment flexibility. The system’s design guarantees low operational and maintenance costs. Consistent and reliable performance ensures compliance with government regulations.
The www/RESOURCE DAF system uses DAG (Dissolved Air Generator) technology, which allows the removal of fine insoluble materials by generating 5-12 micron bubbles, the finest in the industry. The DAG system achieves saturation efficiencies that approach 100 percent at low energy consumption. This performance has been documented through upgrades of existing systems that show the new DAG technology improves performance while reducing energy costs by more than 50 percent.
Pulse Jet Dust Collector
The 40,000 ACFM collector vents a sand and aggregate fluid bed dryer operating at 140 degrees Farenheit. Inlet loading for the collector is a demanding 15,000 lbs/hr (44 gr/cf), with outlet emissions of .02 gr/cf. The Sly Model STJ-3215-10 collector features a high side inlet and large drop-out section, slowing velocity to remove heavy particulate before it is filtered by the collector’s 16 oz polyester filter bags. Because the dryer being vented occasionally is fired by high sulfur fuel oil, special design considerations were made. The collector has a stainless steel tube sheet, internal epoxy coating and 3" of fiberglass insulation to address potential corrosion.

FlexSwitch FLT93 Pump Protection Flow Switch
The FlexSwitch FLT93 Pump Protection Flow Switch reduces pump repair and extends pumplife by detecting dry running conditions caused by irregular liquid flows or slurries. It monitors the flow and temperature of liquids, gases, slurries, syrups, lubricants, coolants and more. It is ideal for pump wet/dry detection, where sudden, unexpected reductions in media flow rates may leave pumps vulnerable to over-heating conditions that can result in bearing or seal damage that require major repairs or shorten their useful life. It also offers a highly robust scheme for pump protection with its dual alarm capability and features a wide set-point range, which varies according to service media (liquid, gas or foam), beginning from 0.01 to 3 SFPS (0.003 to 0.9 SMPS) in water-based liquids.

Pump operation is guided by an intuitive user interface displaying real-time flow, sampled volume with run duration, a simple battery "fuel gauge" and alarm for flow or battery fault conditions. Typical run times of more than 30 hours (depending on media and flow rate) and meet applicable NIOSH and EN requirements.
Hi-Flo ES is a high-efficiency ASHRAE grade pocket filter that uses 27 to 50 percent less HVAC energy and has 25 to 30 percent longer service life than competitive filters. ASHRAE grade pocket filters combine three factors critical to commercial buyers – low total cost of operation, longer service life and the ability to operate without a prefilter. Key to the performance of the Hi-Flo ED is a high-lofted, air laid micro fiberglass media and a unique pocket configuration.
BioBarrier Membrane BioReactor utilizes flat sheet membranes for a versatile design and robust process in wastewater recycling. Engineered in a small footprint and immersed directly in the aeration process, the BioBarrier has a high surface area of membrane material in a double plate configuration.
