Underground Septic Chambers
CULTEC Recharger and Contactor underground septic chambers offer a wastewater management alternative to concrete galleries and conventional pipe and stone systems, especially for sites with space constraints. The Recharger models are high-profile, high-capacity septic chambers. The Contactor models are lower profile, lower capacity chambers, typically used for septic installations with depth restrictions or where larger units may not be approved by the local authority. Their fully open bottoms and perforated sidewalls, along with the use of CULTEC Filter Fabric, offer greater contact with the primary leaching area, thereby delivering maximum infiltration capability. The chambers may reduce overall system size requirements by up to 50 percent when approved by the local authority.
Fluid Imaging Technologies
Fluid Imaging Technologies' FlowCAM PV Series imaging particle analysis system features two new analyzers, the FlowCAM PV-5x and FlowCAM PV-10x, that are pre-configured to promote maximum speed, efficiency, accuracy and repeatability in laboratories where analyses are performed on products and/or on particles. The analyzers can detect thousands of particles and microorganisms, in a sample, in less than a minute, and take a hi-resolution, full color digital image of each one detected while measuring them based on the actual size and shape of the images and characterizing them with up to 32 different parameters - all in real-time.
Pulse Jet Dust Collector
The 40,000 ACFM collector vents a sand and aggregate fluid bed dryer operating at 140 degrees Farenheit. Inlet loading for the collector is a demanding 15,000 lbs/hr (44 gr/cf), with outlet emissions of .02 gr/cf. The Sly Model STJ-3215-10 collector features a high side inlet and large drop-out section, slowing velocity to remove heavy particulate before it is filtered by the collector’s 16 oz polyester filter bags. Because the dryer being vented occasionally is fired by high sulfur fuel oil, special design considerations were made. The collector has a stainless steel tube sheet, internal epoxy coating and 3" of fiberglass insulation to address potential corrosion.
The Fracking Kit
The Forston Labs Fracking Kit measures increased concentrations of barium ion, chloride ion, nickel ion, sulfate ion, bromide ion, potassium ion, turbidity and changes in acidity. The Kit consists of a LabNavigator (required for all measurements), a full-range heavy-duty pH Sensor, a Turbidity Sensor, a Conductivity Sensor and a clear-language informative user’s guide for the non-chemist. It works by simply connecting one or more of the sensors to the LabNavigator, ensuring the accuracy by using one of the included non-toxic standards, dipping the sensor into a sample of well water and pressing a button which stores the test results for future use. The digital readout on the LabNavigator shows the results in an instant.
Vapor-Tight Groundwater System
Abanaki Corporation' Vapor-Tight, Explosion Proof Groundwater Remediation System is designed to keep explosive vapors from being vented into the atmosphere. The oil skimming system consists of Abanaki's PetroXtractor belt oil skimmer equipped with explosion-proof electrical components, vapor-tight belt housing and a self-sealing, well-casing mounting clamp. Optimum removal rates are achieved using the patent-pending LFO Fuzzy2 belt made from a special oil-attracting material whose tiny hairs increase surface area and collect light hydrocarbons efficiently. Typical applications are remediating oil contamination from groundwater using existing monitoring or remediation wells. The oil skimmer wiper blades scrape oil from the belt and discharge it into an Oil Concentrator, a small gravity separator that removes any trace water from the skimmed oil. The waste oil flows out of the Concentrator into a transfer tank where a pump activated by float switches sends the oil to a customer-provided waste oil vessel.

KIN-TEK’s FlexStream Automated Gas Standards Generating System blends calibration standards for acetaldehyde and other oxygenate contaminants in nitrogen or food grade carbon dioxide matrix. Trace Source permeation tubes are used to add known concentrations of the various oxygenate species to a flow of purified food grade CO2. Since concentration specifications are in the ppb range, the diluent CO2 may contain unknown and variable residual contamination. Calibration is based on the known difference in oxygenate concentration due to the addition. A secondary dilution feature gives low ppb and ppt concentrations adjustable over a 400:1 range. Mixture concentrations are traceable to NIST through physical standards.

GF Piping Systems' Signet 9900 SmartPro Transmitter provides a single-channel interface for multiple parameters. The single-channel, multi-parameter capability and field-upgradable modularity allows distributors and OEMs to increase service levels while maintaining reduced inventories. A key feature is its extra large (3.90" x 3.90") backlit display. The display shows separate lines for units, main and secondary measurements as well as a dial-type digital bar graph. Other capabilities include relay and warning LEDs and an intuitive menu for easy programming. JM Science’s AQUACOUNTER Coulometric AQ-300 KF Titrator is designed for the biodiesal in alternative fuels industry. It has six built-in calculation modes to accommodate solid, liquid and gas samples. It determines moisture down to 1ppm with just a simple injection of the sample. A built-in detector monitors titration status. Four files with preset conditions can be stored in memory and allows instant recall of data for up to 20 samples. 4CM Carbon Monoxide Sensor
City Technology's 4CM, carbon monoxide sensor was developed to meet the most stringent toxic gas and mining standards. The 4CM improves the functionality, reliability and effectiveness of PPE in hostile environments, by responding 12 percent faster to CO hazards and recovering in over half the time of the industry average. It has a typical T90 time of seven seconds and a recovery time to an indicated level of less than 2ppm in less than 100 seconds. During 50-day exposures in 120°F and 11 percent relative humidity, and 120°F at 95 percent relative humidity, the 4CM operated to specification. The sensor provides excellent accuracy and stability at high and low gas concentrations, meeting the EN45544 requirements for uncertainty, typically achieving 1ppm for zero concentrations and less than 1 percent variation at 250, 750 and 1000ppm.

The FlexSwitch FLT93 Pump Protection Flow Switch reduces pump repair and extends pumplife by detecting dry running conditions caused by irregular liquid flows or slurries. It monitors the flow and temperature of liquids, gases, slurries, syrups, lubricants, coolants and more. It is ideal for pump wet/dry detection, where sudden, unexpected reductions in media flow rates may leave pumps vulnerable to over-heating conditions that can result in bearing or seal damage that require major repairs or shorten their useful life. It also offers a highly robust scheme for pump protection with its dual alarm capability and features a wide set-point range, which varies according to service media (liquid, gas or foam), beginning from 0.01 to 3 SFPS (0.003 to 0.9 SMPS) in water-based liquids.
