The purifier never needs replacement parts and was designed for extreme environments. The water treatment device is ideal for campers, travelers, and natural disasters. For a limited time, the water purifier is also available at the company’s Indiegogo campaign.

According to the World Health Organization, over 3.4 million people die each year from waterborne disease. Water disinfection is one of the most effective interventions to save lives, but a large proportion of people in poor economies stop disinfecting due to complexity and on-going cost. In contrast, the H2gO Purifier is sustainable even for people at the poverty line because it is both simple to use and free to operate.

The H2gO Purifier works by converting a few grains of common salt to a powerful disinfecting solution in a matter of seconds. It treats 1 to 20 liters of water at a time. It’s driven by a cell phone battery that can be charged by the integrated solar panel or USB, able to treat 300 liters of water per charge. Only one hour of sunlight makes over 1 gallon of safe water. There is even an LED flashlight for night-time operation.

        The ST100 Flow Meter’s graphical, multivariable, backlit LCD display/readout brings new meaning to the term “process information”.         The user-friendly ST100 stores up to five unique calibration groups to accommodate broad flow ranges, differing mixtures of the same gas and multiple gases, and obtains up to 1000:1 turndown.  An optional, patent-pending SpectraCal Gas Equivalency calibration method lets users select and switch between 10 common gases. An on-board data logger with an easily accessible, removable 2-GB micro-SD memory card capable of storing 21 million readings comes standard.

        The ST100 offers three different types of flow sensors to best match user applications.  The fast-response FPC-style is a fast response features an integral flow conditioner and protective shroud optimized for compressed air and clean gas applications. The fast-response, general purpose FP-style features a protective shroud and is the sensor used with FCI’s VeriCal in-situ calibration option.  For wet or dirty gases, or erratic flows, the unshrouded S-style facilitates easy cleaning and provides a smoothed response.

        The ST100 can be calibrated to measure virtually any process gas, including wet gas, mixed gases and dirty gases.  The basic insertion style air/gas meter features a thermal flow sensing element that measures flow from 0.25 to 1000 SFPS (0.07 NMPS to 305 NMPS) with accuracy of  ±0.75 percent of reading, ±0.5 percent of full scale.  

        Designed for rugged industrial processes and plants, ST100 Flow Meters include service up to 850ºF and are available with both integral and remote (up to 1000 feet) electronics versions. The ST100 is agency approved for hazardous environments, including the entire instrument, the transmitter and the rugged, NEMA 4X/IP67 rated enclosure.  Instrument approvals in addition to ATEX and IECEx include FM and FMc.

            GF Piping Systems has introduced the second generation Signet 9900 Transmitter featuring a Batch Controller option, along with all the proven features of the original model.  The new Signet 9900 Transmitter (Generation II) supports multiple parameters that include flow, pH/ORP, Conductivity/Resistivity, Salinity, Temperature, Pressure, Level, and 4 to 20 mA Signals, and also Batch Systems.

            Customers can convert their second generation 9900 Transmitter to a Batch Controller System by simply plugging in the new Batch Module and Relay Module, thereby maintaining the product’s original intent of consolidating multiple platforms into one while increasing their service level and reducing inventory.

            The 9900 features an extra large (3.90” x 3.90”) auto-sensing backlit display that allows visibility at 4-5 times the distance of other transmitters.  This highly illuminated display and large characters reduce the risk of misreading or misinterpreting the displayed values.  The display shows separate lines for units, main and secondary measurements as well as a dial-type digital bar graph.  Output accuracy is ±32 μA maximum error @ 25ºC @ 24 VDC with resolution of 6 μA or better. Other capabilities include relay and warning LEDs, and an intuitive menu for easy programming.  Standards and approvals include NEMA 4X/IP65, CE, UL, CUL, RoHS and China RoHS. 

            The new 9900 Batch Control System is well suited for batch processes, filter backwash initiation, chemical addition, and canning and bottling.  Other applications fulfilled by the 9900’s multi-parameter capabilities make it ideal for water and wastewater treatment, reverse osmosis, deionization, chemical dosing and delivery, metal and plastic finishing, fume scrubbers, cooling towers, and all types of filtration.

              Select-A-Shield RF EMI Shielded tents are used for everything from pre-compliance testing to secure communications. To assure shielding effectiveness during entry and exit, Select Fabricators, Inc. has developed a vestibule for its Select-A-Shield walk-in enclosures. With most walk-in enclosures, opening the door can immediately degrade shielding effectiveness resulting in possible data capture compromise or data corruption. With the addition of the Select-A-Shield vestibule, which is integral to the enclosure, the shielding environment is kept intact for consistent shielding performance.

              In a typical 9’ wide, x 12’ length Select-A-Shield tent, the vestibule is situated in the right-hand front corner. 3’ x 4’, in size, the vestibule provides entry for personnel via a separate single door double magnet (patent pending) closure system which opens out. The vestibule has its own separate conductive floor, door,and inner walls apart from the tent itself which allows maximum isolation for continuous testing or examination. The door opening to the main compartment opens inwards, making entry and exit easier.

              Select-A-Shield RF EMI shielded enclosures with vestibules typically include a white ESD liner and ventilation. “Ventilation is necessary when people occupy a RF EMI shielded tent”, stated Lynne Woodworth, chief development officer at SELECT, “SELECT’s fan and vent system is RF EMI shielded to preserve the shielding effectiveness of the structure. The white ESD liner not only protects against static, it also helps technicians read and record data against a neutral, brighter background.”

              Select-A-Shield RF / EMI enclosures  are constructed with RoHS compliant, durable, lightweight, Silver/Copper/Nickel, Nova Select fabric, SELECT’s proprietary highly conductive material. Shielding effectiveness for a vestibule measures -73 dB with both doors closed at 916 Mhz.  A double wall RF EMI shielding tent with ESD liner yields an average SE of -78 dB average from 150 kHz to 18 GHz without the vestibule.  

              “We developed this US-based fabric to yield high conductivity for the widest range of applications,” said Woodworth. “We’ve done everything from die-cut parts to a shielded enclosure large enough to hold a tractor. The possibility to design shielding that assures RF EMI isolation from off-the shelf standard configurations to custom designs is what drives SELECT.”

                        The lamp crusher unit is equipped with a side-mounted dust filter unit containing the highest quality H.E.P.A. filter available. This works in conjunction with an activated carbon filter located in the steel canister. The activated carbon filter actively captures and neutralizes the mercury vapor released from the lamps during crushing.

                        A recent study showed non-detectable levels of escaped mercury vapor even after crushing 1500 lamps. A new safety control panel has also been added, giving the operator added security by monitoring seven aspects of the machine to better ensure operator safety.

                          The Abaque Series pumps feature a seal-free design that eliminates leaks and product contamination, which enables them to handle a wide array of challenging pumping applications in the oil and gas, chemical process, industrial and municipal water treatment, paint and coatings, and mining industries. The pumps, which can run in either forward or reverse, are self-priming and offer suction-lift capabilities to 29.5 feet, as well as the ability to run dry continuously without adversely affecting the pump’s performance.
