Power Supply

Pepperl+Fuchs’ PS3500 power supply features a modular design with selectable wiring configurations, including an N+1 redundant-mode configuration. The 24-volt DC, 15-amp power modules plug into a three- or six-position chassis/backplane. The system is designed with external field connectors, LED displays, alarm outputs, and natural convection cooling. The units are certified for Class I, Division 2 and ATEX Zone 2 mounting.

    Wireless Sensors

    Onset’s HOBOnode wireless sensors are designed for outdoor environmental monitoring. The units transmit air temperature and soil moisture data to a remote PC. Accompanying software displays real time graphs of environmental conditions and provides alarm notifications via text message and e-mail when conditions exceed set thresholds. The products use integrated solar-rechargeable batteries.

      Carbon Minimizer

      Paragon’s Carbon Minimizer software is designed to reduce truck emissions and gas costs. The software monitors a truck’s fuel use and carbon emissions, then estimates and reports the total carbon dioxide and fuel content of the routes and schedules by measuring distance, speed, weight and fuel efficiency. The product configures its monitoring for slower urban journeys that use more fuel and carbon dioxide per mile than highway journeys.

        Thermo Fisher’s iCAP 6200 spectrometer is a dual-view ICP instrument designed for environmental and WEEE/RoHS analytical testing environments. The product features a purge gas distribution system, an RF generator, a charge injection device, and an enhanced matrix tolerance torch design that reduces plasma gas consumption.

          SafeRack’s G4 Series single-hatch truck-loading gangway is a self-contained system constructed with metal-stamping technology and a tool-and-die process. The product features spring-loaded gangway and platform operation, slip-resistant tread on the stairs, powder-coated handrails and mid-rails, heavy-duty bumpers and a four-rail design for fall protection.

            Flow Sensors

            Badger Meter’s Series 380 and 735 Flow Sensors are designed to provide an all-in-one energy measurement solution. The Series 380 is made for HVAC contractors and energy engineer specifiers. The 380 comes with a pulse output, tee, two temperature probes, Btu calculator and RS-485. The 735 features a plastic tee-type, non-magnetic impeller flow sensor, and is made for small pipe size applications. The 735 has an internal preamplifier that allows a pulse signal to travel up to 2,000 feet without further amplification.

              Air and Dirt Separator

              Thrush’s Aar-O-Vent air and dirt separator is designed for corrosion protection in hydronic piping systems. The device uses a stainless-steel coalescing filter medium to separate air and dirt from water in systems that can cause damage to pumps, seals and valves. Features include a gauge tap on the inlet and outlet connections, a removable bottom cover for cleaning the coalescing medium, and a blow down valve for flushing collected sediment. Available sizes for the separator range from 1.5- to 24-inches.

                The FlowStation 110 from Control Microsystems is an out-of-the-box pump station controller package designed for use in storm and wastewater lift stations and common pump-up applications. The components consist of a pump controller, a color touch screen local operator interface, GPRS modem, SMS and e-mail alarming. An integrated BlackBerry interface is designed for central viewing and alarm acknowledgement. For larger water control systems, the package provides interface tools that exploit the product’s integrated Web server and Ethernet capabilities.

                  Slurry Knife Gate Valve

                  Red Valve’s Series DX slurry knife gate valve is designed for heavy slurry applications. When the valve opens, reinforced elastomer sleeves seal against each other and provide a complete full-port opening, which minimizes turbulence and wear. When the valve is closed, the sleeves provide a drop tight seal. Each time the valve strokes, it is designed to discharge a small amount of slurry, keeping the gate path and seat area clear of entrapped particulates.

                    Electrodeionization Module

                    The Ionpure VNX-HH electrodeionization module from Siemens provides feed water hardness tolerance. The device features a hardness level of 2 ppm as CaCO3. The module has options for treating difficult feed water, and offers capital cost savings by eliminating the need for two-pass reverse osmosis.

                      Toxic Gas Detector

                      The TS4000H Intelligent Toxic Gas Detector from General Monitors is compatible with HART communication protocol. The detector offers protection against a wide range of hazardous industrial gases, including chlorine and hydrogen chloride, and is able to safeguard against oxygen deficiency. Designed for use in waste and wastewater treatment sites, the device features event logs, an LED display and explosion-proof housing. The system displays gas concentrations up to 500 ppm, fault codes for troubleshooting, and prompting when calibration is needed.

                        Control Pinch Valve

                        Red Valve’s Series 5200 control pinch valve is designed to provide accurate, repeatable control of abrasive and corrosive slurries. The elastomer sleeve produces a smooth venturi flow path that outlasts gate, plug, ball and stellite-coated control valves. The reinforced elastomer sleeve is the only wetted part of the valve, which eliminates the need for packing, valve seats and mechanical parts. The cone sleeve trim throttles applications for tighter control and range.

                            Arsenic Removal

                            Dow Water & Process Solutions ADSORBSIATM As500 is a non-regenerable single-use product for the removal of arsenic. It is stronger, reduces turbidity, and has fewer backwash requirements than the previously released media. The product meets the California Total Threshold Limits as well as TCLP and Calif. WET tests. The nano-crystalline structure provides faster kinetics, allowing smaller diameter vessels and system footprint. It removes arsenic across a wide pH range, without the use of pretreatment.

                              Watson-Marlow’s 520, 620 and 720 Series of cased peristaltic pumps are NEMA-4X-rated with certified PROFIBUS DP networking capabilities. With two-way real-time communications, the tubing pump skid systems require minimal ancillary equipment and no back pressure regulators, de-gassing valves, strainers or pulsation dampeners. The skid systems deliver an accuracy of +/- .5 percent.
