Diagnostic Module Software
Pepperl+Fuchs’ Advanced Diagnostic Module DTM software monitors the quality of fieldbus communication for FOUNDATION fieldbus H1 and PROFIBUS PA networks, and includes updates that speed fieldbus commissioning. This smart software tool translates data provided by the ADM into actionable information. It can run on a server in the control room, turning the complete fieldbus infrastructure into an open book that can be read even without expert knowledge.
Segment Checker Software
Pepperl+Fuchs’ Segment Checker version 1.20 is a tool for validating the design of all Foundation fieldbus and Profibus PA segments, even in hazardous areas. Users drag and drop components into the project window and edit the attributes to build a fieldbus segment. New to version 1.20 are the latest FieldConnex fieldbus products and enhanced calculations for field barriers used in the High Power Trunk method. Additionally, Segment Checker 1.20 allows users to export a project in a graphic format for use in different media.
Pepperl+Fuchs’ PS3500 power supply features a modular design with selectable wiring configurations, including an N+1 redundant-mode configuration. The 24-volt DC, 15-amp power modules plug into a three- or six-position chassis/backplane. The system is designed with external field connectors, LED displays, alarm outputs, and natural convection cooling. The units are certified for Class I, Division 2 and ATEX Zone 2 mounting.
Advanced Diagnostic Model
Pepperl+Fuchs' Advanced Diagnostic Module (ADM) removes complexity from FOUNDATION Fieldbus and Profibus installations and is unique in its ability to bring control to the fieldbus by monitoring the fieldbus physical layer, while creating transparency and easy evaluation of the network. The extremely detailed information provided by the ADM is displayed in a simple-to-use Device Type Manager in the control room. Engineering contractors, commissioning experts, plant operators, and maintenance specialists gain visibility into the fieldbus physical layer for faster commissioning work, longer plant-uptime, true preventative maintenance and efficient troubleshooting.
