H250 M40 Variable Area Flowmeter
The H250 M40 Variable Area Flowmeter combines the major explosion protection types in one device. It can be used in any suitable application that requires intrinsically safe (IS) or non-incendive (NI) wiring strategies, as well as for dust-ignition or explosion proof installations. The worldwide approvals make the H250 M40 flowmeter the best choice for large international companies that have a stringent explosion protection strategy for all plants but also require local approvals. OEMs now can also fulfill different customers' requirements with a single device. In addition, the H250 M40 is the first variable area flowmeter with stainless steel housing and an explosion proof (Ex-d/XP) enclosure, making it ideal for the oil and gas industry.
All available H250 M40 flowmeter indicator options can be supplied with specific approvals, on site, and without interrupting the process. These purely mechanical flow indicators can easily be upgraded with 1 or 2 limit switches (NAMUR, transistor, or reed), a 4...20mA signal output with HART, a graphical LCD with totalizer and pulse output, as well as a digital, bus-powered communication interface using FOUNDATION Fieldbus or the PROFIBUS (Process Field Bus) PA standard.
Krohne’s Optisonic 6300 clamp-on ultrasonic flowmeter features an integrated display, improved measurement accuracy, ATEX Approval, an extended temperature range and the ability to handle smaller line sizes. It is fitted with a protective casing to ensure smooth and efficient operation in demanding and hazardous conditions. Available in three sensor sizes, the flowmeter can cover the entire pipe diameter range from ½- to 160-inches. Two other sensors are available for extreme temperature applications.
KROHNE’s Waterflux 3070 electromagnetic water meter features a 15-year battery life and is suitable for applications where no power is available. The unit’s short inlet and outlet installation requirements allow it to fit in narrow wells and chambers. The device functions as a magnetic-inductive meter, with a low pressure drop. The meter integrates with a GSM module for remote transmission of measurement data and status information.
