Chemical Injection Peristaltic Pump
Watson-Marlow Bredel’s rugged 520RE peristaltic pump is designed for chemical injection applications. The combination of the tube elements and pumphead design allows the unit to be used in applications requiring accurate metering, dosing and transferring. The pumps, with patented LoadSure elements, offer flows from 5 GPH at 30 psi to 7 GPH at 100 psi. They contain fluids within the tube at all times, never allowing the fluid to come into contact with the pump mechanism.
Watson-Marlow Bredel offers the heavy-duty SPX pump for challenging environmental applications. This pump reliably handles a variety of harsh materials, including abrasive sludge. Advanced hose technology enables the unit to pump grit-filled sludge dependably for a long period of time. Peristaltic hose pumps are virtually maintenance-free, with no expensive seals to replace, no check valves to clog, and no rotors and stators to wear out. Unlike other pump types, the highly abrasive nature of sludge does not affect pump life.
Watson-Marlow’s 520, 620 and 720 Series of cased peristaltic pumps are NEMA-4X-rated with certified PROFIBUS DP networking capabilities. With two-way real-time communications, the tubing pump skid systems require minimal ancillary equipment and no back pressure regulators, de-gassing valves, strainers or pulsation dampeners. The skid systems deliver an accuracy of +/- .5 percent.
