Beuhler Joins HDR
Mark Beuhler has joined HDR’s Water business group as West Region desalination technical lead and section manager for HDR’s Los Angeles office, according to a Jan. 14 press release.
Beuhler will oversee project and client development for water projects within the greater Los Angeles area. He also will initiate and manage HDR’s desalination activities in the western United States.
Before joining HDR, Beuhler was the assistant general manager at the Coachella Valley Water District and also was an associate vice president for the Metropolitan Water District of Southern California. At Metropolitan Beuhler also oversaw implementation of the Desalination Research and Innovation Project, an effort that researched new ways to desalinate water.
Beuhler has 30 years of experience, including work as an engineering consultant and work for a large wastewater agency. He received his bachelor’s degree in engineering from Tulane University and his master’s in environmental engineering from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
