Moving Water to Provide Pumps for Everglades Restoration
Moving Water Industries has signed a major contract with the South Florida Water Management District to supply pumps over a four-year period for the district's Everglades Restoration Project, according to a Nov. 6 press release.
The pumping system to be supplied for the future G-508 Pump Station will include four diesel engine pumping systems and five electric pumping systems. The project will enable the district to achieve water quality standards as part of its long-term plan to ensure that all waters discharging into the Everglades Protection Area are in compliance.
The company manufactures, sells, and rents of pumps for flood control, drainage, municipal use, construction dewatering, sewage bypass, mining, and general industrial use.
