TenX Ventures Acquires Sparling Instruments
TenX Ventures, LLC has acquired Sparling Instruments, Inc., a manufacturer of flow measurement solutions.
Headquartered in El Monte, Calif., Sparling designs and manufactures flowmeters for the water and wastewater flow measurement markets as well as for general industrial flow measurement markets. The company's product lines include the TigermagEP™ line of magnetic flow meters as well as lines of propeller and vortex meters.
With the acquisition, Yosufi Tyebkhan, TenX Ventures managing partner, will become president of Sparling Instruments.
"We are very excited by the opportunity to build on the almost 100 years of history to grow the firm through investment in sales, operations, and product development," said Tyebkhan.
Steve Kim, Sparling's current president, will remain in an advisory role through a transition
period.
