Arcadian Networks Partners with FreeWave Technologies
Arcadian Networks, a wireless communications carrier serving energy companies with dispersed assets (electric, gas and water utilities, and oil and gas companies), announced on March 10 that it has entered into a business partnership with FreeWave Technologies to enhance and diversify its existing wireless communications platform.
FreeWave Technologies, a privately held company headquartered in Boulder, Colo., designs and manufactures board-level and enclosed format spread spectrum and licensed data radios for long-range reliable data communications in mission-critical applications. The company's products are ideally suited for the electric utility and oil and gas industries, in addition to supporting the needs of the commercial and military markets.
As part of the agreement, Arcadian Networks will market, sell and distribute FreeWave's 700MHz products, providing electric utilities and oil and gas companies' greater equipment diversity and flexible bandwidth and deployment options.
